UM CHSP Services & Fees

UMCHSP offers a variety of fitness tests, health assessments, and education available to students, faculty, staff, and community members:

Concussion Management:
- ImPACT Baseline Test – $25
- ImPACT Post-Injury Test – $50
- Full Assessment – $150
  - Includes:
    - SCAT 5
    - Balance Test
    - ImPACT Post-Injury Test
  - Add-Ons:
    - Nutritional Counseling – $25 per quarter hour
    - Mental Health Check – $25 per quarter hour
    - Exercise Prescription/Return to Play -$25 per quarter hour
Medical Nutrition Counseling by a Registered Dietitian
- A Registered Dietitian can assess your nutritional statues to determine if you are meeting your nutritional needs for $25 per quarter hour.
- The Initial Assessment and Consultation is typically 60 to 90 minutes, and includes initial assessment of anthropometrics, weight and diet history, meal patterns, goal setting, and nutrition instruction.

Body Composition Assessment and Consultation
- Body composition using air displacement plesthmography $50 per visit.
Diet Recall and/or Food Diary Evaluation
- Food intake is analyzed for a given period of time
- 3-day recall/diary – $75
- *Package deals are also available for many of the services listed above.

Metabolic Testing: (COMING SOON!!!)
- VO2 Max Test – $150
- Resting Metabolic Rate Assessment – $75
- Lactate Threshold Training Assessment Assessment – $200
  - Includes VO2 Max Test/Wingate Test
- MicroFit Assessment – $20/Students, Faculty, Staff, $40/Community Members
  - Blood Pressure
  - Resting Heart Rate
  - Estimated VO2 Max via Step Test or YMCA Bike Test
  - Body Fat Assessment via skinfold calipers
  - Flexibility Assessment
  - Strength Assessment (Bicep Strength and Hand Grip Dynamometry)
  - Waist/Hip Ratio Assessment
  - Body Mass Index Assessment

Continuing Education
- Conferences, Workshops, Seminars
- CPR, AED, & First Aid Certification – American Heart Association certification $60 per person
