Hospitality Management Program Reaccredited Through 2026

The accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality recently announced the Hospitality Management Program at the University of Mississippi was awarded continuing accredited status during the 2019 Summer Commission Meeting held in New Orleans.

With emphasis areas in lodging, foodservice and event management, the Hospitality Management curriculum integrates fundamental and current principles of hospitality management taught by academic leaders in the field.

Business principles drive the course of study, including industry-specific accounting, financial management, law and ethics, marketing, and human resources. The program is designed to enhance and strengthen our students critical thinking and problem-solving skills so that they can address, meet, and adapt to the various needs of the hospitality industry in managerial positions.
