School Welcomes Faculty and Staff to 2014 Fall Semester with Breakfast

On August 21st, 2014, the School of Applied Sciences kicked off the Fall semester by holding the annual Faculty and Staff Meeting. The itinerary included breakfast, a meet and greet, photograph opportunities, and a presentation by Dean Velmer Burton focusing on the accomplishments of the school such as faculty publications and student awards.

The School of Applied Sciences has five departments (Social Work, Legal Studies, Communication Sciences & Disorders, Health, Exercise Science, & Recreation Management, and Nutrition & Hospitality Management) and two centers (Center for Intelligence & Security Studies and National Food Service Management Institute).

We look forward to a wonderful 2014-2015 school year!
