Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) students assist a patient during an Audiology Hands-On Clinical. CSD majors learn the anatomy and physiology of speech, language, and auditory processes, and get hands-on experience assessing and managing disorders in speech, language, and hearing.

Our students find careers as registered dietitians, exercise physiologists, homeland security experts, FBI agents, social workers, elder care specialists, recreation administrators, attorneys, hotel and restaurant managers, event planners, audiologists, and speech-language pathologists, just to name a few.
In addition, our programs work perfectly as pre-professional programs for those pursuing advanced degrees in health professions, like nursing, medicine, dentistry, and physical or occupational therapy.
