Graduate Certificates (Online)
The Biomechanics Graduate Certificate is a fully online program that includes four courses totaling 15 hours of graduate-level course work. Courses are offered in accelerated terms so that learners may complete the certificate in as little as one semester or as long as two years.
The program is designed for individuals with backgrounds in engineering, kinesiology, human movement sciences, health, medicine, and other health related areas that are seeking an advanced understanding of biomechanics.
The certificate is tailored to enhance professional competencies in musculoskeletal anatomy, functional kinesiology, injury evaluation and treatment, biomechanics instrumentation, sports and occupational biomechanics, therapeutic interventions, and medical device development.
The Intercollegiate Athletics Academic Success (IAAS) Graduate Certificate is a fully online program that includes four courses totaling 12 hours of graduate-level course work. Courses are offered in accelerated terms so that learners may complete the certificate in as little as one semester or as long as two years.
This program will teach students what working in athletics academic advising and support entails along with introducing the technical elements of student-athlete academic eligibility. Students will gain an understanding of academic reform in the NCAA to inform their understanding of the current landscape regarding advising student-athletes.
The Intercollegiate Athletic Administration (IAA) Graduate Certificate is a fully online program that learners may complete in as little as little as one semester of as long as two years.
The program is designed for individuals that are seeking an advanced understanding of intercollegiate athletics administration. Students will develop current knowledge of the NCAA as an organization and an awareness of potential career paths in the intercollegiate athletics industry.
The program is tailored to enhance professional competencies in NCAA governance, internal operations, external operations, and leadership skills with emphases in collegiate athletics organizations.
The NCAA Compliance Graduate Certificate is a fully online program that teaches students what working in NCAA compliance entails along with introducing the technical elements of NCAA bylaws.
- The program will equip students with a base of knowledge about how to use NCAA compliance specific research databases.
This program is geared towards students with an interest in working in NCAA compliance whether they are pursuing a graduate degree in higher education or related field or a law degree.
The Evidence-Based Policing & Reform (EBPR) Graduate Certificate is a fully online program that includes four courses totaling 12 hours of graduate-level course work. Courses are offered in accelerated terms so that learners may complete the certificate in as little as one semester or as long as two years.
The program is designed for individuals with backgrounds in criminal justice, mostly notably in law enforcement, and law enforcement-related fields. More specifically, the EBPR certificate program offers knowledge and skills in evidence-based policing and reform for those who are actively employed/working with/or have intentions of working with or in the field of law enforcement and law enforcement-related jobs and careers.
