Public Health and Health Promotion

Learn the science of public health and health behavior. Design health programs to improve the health and well-being among individuals and communities everywhere. Our program will prepare you to be a change maker across careers in public health, health education, community health, worksite health, global health and other health-related professions.

The Community Health Promotion emphasis will prepare students to develop rich foundational and applied knowledge in the area of public health. Students may select career paths that align with their professional passions, to serve others as program planners and evaluators, school educators, multiple roles in the public health sector.

The Health Science Studies emphasis will provide students with a transformative academic experience that will prepare them for future fields in medicine, nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, athletic training and other health related professions.

GRADUATE OUTCOMES

Graduates are prepared for employment or graduate school in public health, community health or allied health professions such as physical therapy or other medical related professions.
